Integrate Google Desktop into Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer provides a dedicated box to search the internet. You can use that box to search your computer with Google Desktop as well. Follow these instructions:

1. Click on the Google Desktop icon in your system tray and select 'Search Desktop' from the pop-up menu.

2. In the new browser window, click the [Search Desktop] button without entering anything in the text box. That page will now have a location similar to:

http://127.0.0.1:4664/search&s=xxxxxxxxxx?q=&btnG=Search+Desktop

3. Copy the location of that page into the box below and click [Go].
